Just stayed at Bill Cody Ranch for the first time this past weekend. The only regret was not making our stay longer. The owners and staff make this place feel like home and it's such a relaxing environment. We had 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts there and all of the meals were amazing. The bar area was also a great place to relax and unwind after a long day on the road. Love the rustic feel of the cabins and the fact that there is no wifi or TV in them makes the experience even better! Horseback riding was also one of our best experiences on our trip. I could name each of the staff individually but it's just easier to say every staff member we met and interacted with were amazing. Will definitely plan future trips out and recommend to family and friends. Thanks for an incredible stay!
We came here for an evening two hour horseback ride. We very much enjoyed the views and the ride. Definitely call ahead to book. We opted for 2 hours (so we wouldn't be sore) and it was a perfect amount of time to enjoy the first national forest and views. You can order dinner before your ride and have it ready when your done before they close. Dinner was excellent and reasonably priced. They also have a small bar with lots of options, including beer and wine.

My family and I only did the horseback riding here and it was fantastic!!! My son is 12 and my daughter is 16. All the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We are all novice riders and felt comfortable. We did the 2 hour ride and it was the perfect length for us. The trail was beautiful we got to go up the mountain and back down. It had spectacular views, only one part was little scary, when we 1st started coming back down the mountain but the horses knew the way and we felt safe. This is must do if you’re coming to Yellowstone or Cody!
Staff and cabins were great , took the trail ride had a great time even though we had a little unexpected excitement on the ride, Wranglers were very on top of the situation and very helpfull a big thanks to them Eli, and Levi! We went horseback riding with the ranch. We did the 4 hour with lunch! It was wonderful. The view was incredible from the mountains. Our guide Logan was great. The horses were very easy, my grandson had never been riding, but had no problem with the horse and loved every minute!
